PRE-DEPARTURE CHECKLIST

  • Email [email protected] to confirm your intention to participate in the program.

  • Notify your home school of your plan to attend BSM.

  • Pay Tuition

  • Fill out all required forms (links will be sent in an automated email from BSM after you confirm your plan to participate).

  • Make sure you have a current and valid passport.

  • US and Canadian passport holders will not need a visa to enter Hungary. International (non-EU) students may need a visa.

  • Verify that you have appropriate medical insurance coverage for study abroad.

PRE-DEPARTURE ORIENTATION

Participation in an online pre-departure orientation is required for all student.  As part of this orientation, you will meet the BSM team and fellow students, receive updates on policies and travel guidelines, and have an opportunity to ask question.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE PROGRAM

Although BSM works to make your stay in Hungary as educationally exciting and culturally rewarding as possible, there have on rare occasion been students who decided to withdraw from the program.

  • If you choose to withdraw from the program within the first five weeks of the semester, the program will reimburse a portion of your refundable tuition according to the following schedule: less than 1 week, 90%, less than 2 weeks, 80%, less than 3 weeks, 60%, less than 4 weeks, 40%, less than 5 weeks, 20%.
